Interior Progress

We were invited to go camping October 14th-16th at the end of September (two weeks ago). I of course said, "Hey, we could get Kaiser done and have our inaugural camping trip!" Martin gave me a look, but he was secretly trying to get the trailer done in time. It didn't work out because I got in the way and didn't want him to rush the exterior. We knew the wood wouldn't be shellacked in time. BUT, he got the interior 95% complete! There are just a few more trim pieces, sanding and then shellac!

Installed the new framing for the front window.
the wood around the window was rotted from leaking.

Martin!

Additional framing on the benches to support the table

New shelf (for iPad and speakers so we can watch movies in bed)

Backsplash

sanded drawers

Closet doors!

back window is framed too! Oh, and the bed has plywood too.

We have been making progress on our Crown travel trailer. Unfortunately I have not been updating the blog as much since my computer was stolen along with the 2000 photos(Not just of Kaiser). The only photos I have of the renovation were the ones I had already posted, and those were few since I didn't want to bore anyone with all of the detail.

Any-who, here are the progress photos as of October 1st (I helped this one day, otherwise Martin has done ALL of the work, God Bless him).

The new paneling has been installed, he reused
the old paneling in new locations, like the benches.

Started sanding the paneling we are leaving in place.

(all the modern day appliances will be in the closet)

I sanded all of the drawers and started the ceiling. I mostly got in Martin's way, so he will be finishing the trailer on his own. I will just continue to shop for items to furnish the trailer while he does amazing work on his own.
